Compliments

Let us know what you think

If you’ve found the website useful or someone you’ve dealt with has helped you please let your administrator or fire and rescue authority know to ensure that they are recognised.

When something doesn't go right

Resolving problems

If you have a problem or question about your pension scheme membership or benefits, your first point of contact should be your fire and rescue authority.

They will try to explain or put right any misunderstandings or mistakes as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Making a formal complaint

Appeals

If you aren’t happy with a decision made by your fire and rescue authority, you can make a formal complaint. Your fire and rescue authority should have a policy outlining the steps to follow.

There are two routes that you can take:

  • Medical appeal
  • Internal dispute resolution procedure
